Áine Maguire BA (Hons) MCIM MSc Mgt – Managing Director

Áine is the Managing Director of Persuasion Limited. She is an experienced Executive Coach; Facilitator and Organisational Consultant. Áine designs and leads leadership development and strategy development projects.

She is highly experienced at working with stakeholder groups ranging from boards and business leaders to marginalised groups and individuals. Áine has a deep interest in career development and organisational learning, which she brings to her coaching and consulting assignments.

Áine’s coaching and consulting skills stem from a strong core of analytical skills applied in an objective way. Her goal is to be an effective thinking partner to clients.

As an executive coach, Áine typically works with leadership level clients and their teams. She particularly enjoys working with people who are experiencing major transitions and who are committed to making changes or pursuing significant goals.

Her approach combines a strategic perspective with a practical problem-solving focus.

Her interest in coaching and organisational learning stems from a curiosity about adult development and personality.

Áine is a Columbia Business School (New York) trained coach and draws on the Columbia framework which is grounded in the science of adult learning as the basis of her coaching process.

She is an accredited and experienced of a range of the leading international psychometric and 360 feedback tools including the Hogan; and Arctic Shores suites.

Clients who have worked with Áine say that coaching has helped them to gain clarity around their thinking; to develop a positive and viable vision and to feel empowered about making their way forward.

Áine commenced her career in services marketing. She worked in a variety of senior management roles in leading professional service organisations in Ireland and the UK.

She has also worked for a leading international non-profit organisation. Prior to setting up Persuasion, she worked as a consultant with SHL limited (Now CEB) and with Merc Partners. She has lectured for the Marketing Institute and the Business Faculty in the National College of Ireland.

Carmel Murphy

Carmel is an experienced Executive Coach and Consultant whose career background includes Human Resource leadership roles in fast paced retail environments.

A recognised leader with strong operational and stakeholder management abilities, she has enjoyed a high level of trust and credibility with senior executive and their teams.

Confident in the face of change and ambiguity, Carmel brings a pragmatic and solutions-orientated style to her client engagements.

Mike Hensey

Mike Hensey is a strategic business consultant and business coach with over thirty years of international experience working with business leaders, management teams and individuals to improve organisational effectiveness.

His key areas of expertise include: Strategy Development, Executive Facilitation, Leadership, Management & Organisation Development, Executive Coaching & Role Support, Organisation Restructuring, Change Management, Strategic Performance Management, Organisation Culture and Programme Governance.

Mike is a Fellow of the Management Consultants and Advisors in Ireland. He holds a Masters in Organisational Behaviour; a Diploma in Executive Coaching and a BSc in Information Technology.

He is an accredited Level A and Level B user of psychometric instruments.

Anne Scally

Anne Scally is a Consultant, Trainer, Facilitator and Coach who draws on 20 years’ experience and knowledge to help organisations and individuals enhance their performance and develop to their full potential.

Anne’s expertise includes people management & motivation, performance management, management development and change management.

Prior to becoming a consultant, Anne worked at HR Director level in a number of high profile multi-national operations in Ireland.

Anne holds a Masters in Organisational Behaviour; a Diploma in Executive Coaching and is an accredited mediator. She is also a qualified CIPD member.

Karen Lopez Moore

Karen is a Registered Work and Organisational Psychologist with over 20 years’ experience of providing expertise and practical insight to inform and support the resourcing and development decisions involving individuals, teams and organisations.

She works with a broad range of both private sector companies and public-sector bodies, including international projects in UK, India and Dubai.

A former SHL consultant (Now CEB), Karen is an Associate Consultant at Persuasion Limited, specialising in the area of Selection & Recruitment. Karen is highly experience in this area and has worked at a senior level for a range of corporate clients and for the Irish Public Appointments Service.

Karen holds an M.Sc. in Occupational Psychology and is an accredited Executive Coach and psychometric test user.

Susy Kenefick, BCL, LLM, Professional Certificate in Coaching (PCiC)

Susy coaches clients on all aspects of professional and personal development. She specialises in high performing young professionals with a focus on leadership and skills development, career progression and career transition.

She worked for 10 years as a lawyer in private practice, in industry, and in the public sector before training as a coach. Susy developed a keen interest in organisational culture and dynamics whilst working on large teams in professional and financial services and draws heavily on this background in her coaching practice.

Susy cites her passion for personal development, growth potential and meaningful work as her motivations to pursue a career in coaching. She completed her Professional Certificate in Coaching (PCiC) at Henley Business School and is currently undertaking an MSc in Coaching and Behavioural Change, also at Henley.

Susy works with an eclectic coaching model and is skilled in a wide range of coaching techniques. She is particularly interested in psychodynamics and positive psychology–based coaching approaches. Susy’s academic interests include cultural coaching issues and the application of neuroscience in coaching.
